A Letter

Dear "neighbors",
I really don't care if you get fined for violating the fireworks ban.
I also don't care if you manage to burn down your house, car, yard etc with them.
However, if you wake my sleeping baby---you will have one angry, hormonal mama on your hands and your "fireworks" will be nothing compare to mine.

Love,
Me

  1. SO with you on this one!!! I wish we had a ban, but we don't. So there have been fireworks for a few days now and I hold my breath every time. I can't wait for it to be over! Fingers crossed that your little man sleeps through it all.

  2. This made me laugh out loud! But I completely understand where you are coming from. I love the 4th of July holiday, but I definitely take a different stance on all the idiots who need to do their own fireworks shows...especially when they start putting some off, up to 2 weeks ahead of time. UGH! Good luck!

  3. I'm here with you on this one as well. The fireworks started a few days ago and so far, thankfully, the Boy has slept through them. We aren't at the main holiday yet, though! Saints preserve us!

  4. i am so 100% with you on this. the firework season where we live starts around memorial day, continues through the fourth of july and goes on until the festival our town holds in august (called coast guard festival), so basically, they go from june all the way through august, and our dumbass governor has made it even worse by recently lifting a firework ban relating to fireworks that actually leave the ground. thank-you so much governor dumbass. if my sweet sleeping child gets woken up and turns into a grouchy, whiny, crying child there will be hell to pay.
